In this 'Trig Methods' course, you learn how to use different trig equations (i.e. using sine, cosine, and tangent). You'll plot some graphs and discuss the different properties of these graphs.
There are three parts: Part 1 is learning the trig functions, Part 2 is plotting the graphs (using online software), and Part 3 writing a report about your experience.
Unlike a ‘traditional’ exam, you won’t be sitting a test at the end of your learning. Instead, you will work on the project over a period of time and submit your project at the end. It’s the digital equivalent of having a two-week technology project at school, where you enter and leave your classroom each day. At the end of your project, you'll submit your work for marking.
This assessment is based on on the NZQA 91575 achievement standard (version 2) document.
Before taking Calculus 3.3, LearnCoach recommends you should have passed some Level 2 mathematics internals or externals. If you have not done this, some of the concepts in the internal may be unfamiliar to you and you may find it a challenge.
