Have you ever been roped into filling out some boring survey and thought "man I wish I could be this nosey about other people's lives"? Well now's your chance!
In this internal, you are given a brief to design a questionnaire for a specific group of people who you need to learn something about. There are three parts to this assignment, which you will present in a report format:
Part One) You will investigate the purpose for designing the questionnaire and discuss the different types of data it will collect.
Part Two) You will analyse the questions and multiple variables you chose for your questionnaire, giving statistical reasoning for these decisions.
Part Three) You will improve your questionnaire by conducting a desk review and produce your findings from a pilot survey (this means using it with real people).
This assessment is based on on the NZQA 91263 achievement standard (version 3) document.
Before taking Mathematics 2.8 LearnCoach recommends you should have passed some Level 1 statistics internals or externals. If you have not done this, some of the concepts in the internal may be unfamiliar to you and you may find it a challenge.
If you've sat a similar standard in the past that has now expired, you cannot get the same credits a second time. Check the 'Exclusions List' to see recently updated standards.
