To complete the Achievement Standard, you will:

1) Watch the LearnCoach videos and choose your research topic
2) Plan the research, conduct it, then make notes around what you have found
3) Hand in your evaluation, research, and annotations to earn the credits.

History 2.1 can be the possible precursor to History 2.2.

This assessment is based on on the NZQA 91229 achievement standard (version 2) document.

Prerequisites

Before taking History 2.1, LearnCoach recommends you should have passed some Level 1 geography, history, classical studies or english internals or externals. If you have not done this, some of the concepts in the internal may be unfamiliar to you and you may find it a challenge.

If you've sat a similar standard in the past that has now expired, you cannot get the same credits a second time. Check the 'Exclusions List' to see recently updated standards.
