This achievement standard comprises of a three-part project based on books. Part 1 is reading four books/texts, Part 2 is analysing the books (e.g. what is similar and different?), and Part 3 is writing a report about the books. This counts towards literacy credits (and academic credits).
Unlike a ‘traditional’ exam, you won’t be sitting a test at the end of your learning. Instead, you will be able to work on the report over a period of time. It’s the digital equivalent of reading books at English in school, where you read most of the book (and write the report) in your own time.
This assessment is based on on the NZQA 90852 achievement standard (version 2) document.
For this internal all you need to bring with you is a willingness to learn!
If you've sat a similar standard in the past that has now expired, you cannot get the same credits a second time. Check the 'Exclusions List' to see recently updated standards.
