General Information

Motivation theory seeks to explain what motivates employees.

There are four main parts to completing this assessment task:

1). Choose a business to investigate.

2). Collect information about a motivation practice (or motivation practices) used in the business.

3). Use this information to explain the relationship between business practice and motivation theory.

4). Present your findings in a report.

This assessment is based on on the NZQA 90847 achievement standard (version 2) document.

Prerequisites

Before taking Business Studies 2.5 LearnCoach recommends you should have passed some Level 1 business studies, accounting or economics internals or externals. If you have not done this, some of the concepts in the internal may be unfamiliar to you and you may find it a challenge.
